I have requested access but I still cannot see the file.

All of our file requests are manually accepted: your name/email is cross referenced with our order database. Most requests are accepted within 15 minutes of the order, but sometimes (depending on order volume) it may take slightly longer.

You can access the login page by following the link found in the menu bar at the top of the page. Once you have opened the webpage you will see the login page, please enter your details and login. You will then see links to all your products related to that order. Note that if you have multiple orders you will need to use the order specific details each time. Once you click the links to your products then you will be redirected to Google Drive where we store all our files and manage access permissions. Please login via Google and then request access to your files. We will then check your order against your access request to the files and grant you permission.

I have been sent login details but I have to request access, what does that mean? What do I have to do?

All of our requests to purchased notes are handled by Google. Once you login, you then must sign in with a Google account and request access. This allows us to verify your identity. Requests are normally authenticated within 15 minutes, after which you will have unlimited access to all your purchased files – just remember to login to your Google account.

Can I download and print any of the notes?

If we have permission from the owner of the notes to allow download/print licences then the option will be available in the Licence drop down menu on the product page. 

If the download option is not available, is there a way I can still download them?

If the option to download the notes is not available, it means that the owner of the notes has asked that their work be protected – but don’t worry you will still have full access to your purchases and will be able to view them in full UHD quality.


Do you post any of the notes?

We do not post any notes/exam solutions or any purchases from our store to customers. You will have unlimited access to your purchased files via Google Drive.

How will I receive my purchase?

You will be automatically emailed login details to access your purchased notes.

Once your order has been completed you will be automatically emailed login details to view all your purchases via our online Order Management System. Here you will be able to see all the notes you have associated with your order. The login button can be found at the top of the webpage in the menu bar. In your confirmation email your will receive your username and password. The username will be the same as your confirmation number and password the same as your order number.

How are my payments handled, how is it secured?

Our website is SSL certified, you can click the padlock icon at the top of your web browser to view our encryption certificate. This means that all your information and data is securely encrypted and fully protected. You can view our SSL certificate here.

We do not process nor handle any of your payments. All payment credentials are securely managed and processed by PayPal and/or Stripe (depending on who you use to checkout with). To find out more about their security and infrastructures please visit their websites.

How do I access my purchased notes?

Once your order has been completed you will be automatically emailed login details to view all your purchases via our online Order Management System. Why do you explicitly need my Google account email ID?

All of our files are handled and processed by Google via Google Drive. This allows us to protect all our files and only allow access to those students who have actually purchased notes. In order for us to speed up the authorisation process we recommend that you use your Gmail account at checkout so you don’t have unnecessary waiting times.

But don’t worry, if you do not want to use your Google account ID at purchase then that’s fine, your order will be processed as normal, although it might take longer.

How do you ensure the quality of notes that you sell?

When a seller submits a set of notes to us we manually check each individual document to ensure completeness and quality standards are met. We will never upload partial notes nor will we ever upload something of poor quality. We also ensure that the seller is a 1st or 2:1 class student before finally publishing the product listing on our website.

We regularly reject notes sent to us if they are of poor quality, are already available on the public domain, or are incomplete. This way you know that everything we sell is of the highest standard! If you ever have any doubt regarding the standard on the notes please immediately contact us.

How do you gather my sales data?

All our payments are processed via PayPal or Stripe. As a result all sales information is stored on their servers. We use a function called API that allows us to take that information from their servers and display it to you. This allows it to be secure and prevents even the payment processors from tampering with your data. You can thus rest assured that all information will be up to date and accurate.

Please note that this information is downloaded once every hour from their API via a cron, so you will have to wait until the hour passes to see the updated information. 

How can I change the price/description of my notes?

To request any changes please contact us.

How does advertising and marketing work?

We do all the advertising and marketing for you, driving traffic and page clicks to your notes. Just sit back and relax while you watch the sales role in!

How can I upload my notes?

To upload your notes you must first create an account. You will then be able to upload your files by going to the seller dashboard and clicking the button labeled ‘Add Product’.

Click the Upload New Files button to upload your notes. Fill out the form and upload your files as a PDF, Word Doc or via a URL link.

When your notes have been successfully approved and uploaded to the website you will receive a notification email.

How can I track my sales?

The Seller Login Portal automatically takes sales data from our API allowing real-time instant sales information to be delivered to your portal. The following information shows how the information is delivered to you.

1. Login using your credentials: https://notes.co/seller-dashboard/

2. Dashboard Home shows an overview of your sales and transactions.

3. Click on the Orders button to view a break-down of all your sales by order number.

4. Clicking Products shows all of the files linked to your account. Click Add Product to add more notes to your account and increase your sales further.

How are my notes secured from plagiarism and copyright?

By default your uploaded files are set to online read only. This means that customers cannot download (nor print) and distribute your notes. We achieve this by monitoring access to all our files via Google Drive and setting view restrictions to online only. In this manner your notes are always safe from plagiarism and unauthorised distribution. Only those who have purchased the notes may be allowed to view them.

If you would like to allow your customers the ability to download and print your notes, please contact us and we can enable this. Please note that you maintain all copyright over your notes — we simply act as a third party vendor and sell your notes on your behalf.

How am I paid?

How am I paid?

For every sale made you will receive a portion of income from it.

How much do I receive?

Your final income is calculated as follows:

[(Unit PriceDiscounts)*(x)*(1-0.034)-(0.2)]=[Final Income]

  • Unit Price: Price the customer pays.
  • Discounts: Any coupons or vouchers used.
  • (x): This is your commission on the revenue generated on the sale price, which varies based on quantity and frequency of sales. It is fixed to range from 10% to 70% of the sale price.
  • (1-0.034)-(0.2): PayPal’s fees. PayPal charge 3.4% + 20p per transaction. We absorb this cost.

This will be automatically calculated on the Seller Login Portal, please login to view your sales data. On average our sellers make £100 per term.

When am I paid?

Payments are made at the end of every term/holiday. There are no exceptions to this as PayPal charge us to pay you and we waive this cost by absorbing it into our losses. By using this site and our platforms you agree to this.

Payment Schedule:

  • Sales made over the Summer, in Michaelmas Term and over the Christmas holiday: 3rd January
  • Sales made in the Lent Term and over the Easter holiday: 3rd May
  • Sales made in the Summer Term: 3rd July

Please make sure that your payment information is up to date. You can add and update your payment information from within your seller account.
